Meet Natishka

Welcome! I'm so glad you're here.

Reaching out for support can be one of the most courageous steps a person takes, and finding a therapist who feels like the right fit is an important part of that journey. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. I believe everyone deserves a place where they can show up as they are, knowing they will be met with compassion, respect, and empathy.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).

With over 10 years of experience supporting individuals through mental health concerns and life challenges, I've had the opportunity to work with people from many different backgrounds and walks of life. These experiences have shaped the compassionate, open-minded, and down-to-earth approach I bring to therapy.

My approach is holistic, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and client-centered. I recognize that our well-being can be shaped by our relationships, culture, experiences, physical health, and the environments around us. Therapy isn't one-size-fits-all, so we'll focus on what makes sense for you, your experiences, strengths, values, and goals.

Therapy is most meaningful when you feel free to show up as you are, without feeling like you need to have everything figured out. My role is to walk alongside you, offering support, fresh perspectives, and gentle challenges when helpful, while helping you build on the strengths you already have.

You don’t need to have the right words or know exactly where to begin. Come as you are, and we’ll figure out the next steps together.

What Our Time Together May Look Like

Every therapy journey is unique. There is no expectation to have everything figured out before you begin. Our time together will be guided by your needs, goals, and what feels most important to you.

A Space to Be Yourself

Show up exactly as you are.

You will be met with compassion, respect,

and a space where you can speak openly

without fear of judgment.

A Collaborative Experience

Therapy honors your strengths, values, culture, and lived experiences. The work is shaped around

goals that feel meaningful and realistic for you.

Growth at Your Own Pace

Healing is not a race. Sessions may include processing emotions, learning practical skills, exploring patterns, or recognizing

progress along the way.

Support Along The Way

Each session offers room to gain insight, reconnect with your strengths, and

move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and support.

MY APPROACH

No two people are the same, and therapy shouldn't be either. Every person comes with their own experiences, strengths, challenges, and story, which is why therapy is tailored to meet you where you are. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, navigating a difficult season, or simply looking for a space to better understand yourself.

Therapy is about understanding the bigger picture, not just what you're experiencing, but what may be influencing it. Together, we can explore patterns, build practical tools, and work toward changes that feel meaningful to you.

My approach draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Rather than using one approach for everyone, I integrate different techniques based on what may be most helpful for you.

I also work from a trauma-informed and culturally responsive perspective, recognizing how past experiences, culture, identity, relationships, and values can shape the way we experience ourselves and the world.

Therapy is a collaborative process. I bring clinical knowledge and new perspectives, while you bring your understanding of yourself and your life. Together, we figure out what works for you.

Life Outside Of Therapy

Natishka, psychotherapist and founder of The Silver Grove.

Outside of supporting clients, I enjoy cooking, spending time with my family and my dog, travelling, and appreciating the simple moments that help me recharge and stay grounded.

I'm also naturally curious and love learning. Whether it's a great book, podcast, movie, or TV show, I'm always happy to discover something new; and some of my favourite recommendations have actually come from my clients! Those conversations are a wonderful reminder that we can all learn from one another.

I believe growth is a lifelong journey, and I bring that same curiosity, authenticity, and appreciation for meaningful human connection into every session.
